Welcome to R Half Pint Farm
R Half Pint Farm is a small ten acre farm located in the historically rich County of Spotsylvania, VA, one mile from Lake Anna State Park, and 30 minutes from I-95 and I-64. We raise, breed, show and sell Huacaya and Suri alpacas, as well as alpaca fiber and fiber products. We also provide agistment services. As members of the Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association and the Virginia Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association, we support the alpaca community and the local 4H club, Spotsylvania Alpaca Hummers. We also raise and sell poultry for eggs and goats for land clean up. We are happy to conduct Farm tours and welcome visitors to our farm by appointment. While our farm is half pint in size, there is no shortage of quality or service from our family owned farm!

Now, that doesn’t seem like a huge amount of time until you are without water because the...
Our front pasture is fenced at last! The alpacas seem to be so happy in their nice big pasture and our view of them from our living room is as wonderful as I’d hoped. I must admit that waiting for this to happen was really trying my patience, but now that it’s here—well, it was worth the wait! The over seeding and lime applications and fertilization all contributed to that lovely green pasture, so I am thankful...
